Spaces, rooms and occupancy planSet how many dogs can stay overnight at the same time and assign each guest a room, kennel or crate. The occupancy plan shows the next 14 days. If a day is overbooked, the app warns you.

Check-in takes a minute. After that, the app shows you every morning who's staying, who arrives today and who's being picked up.
Check-in with a packing listFood, medication, leash and harness, vaccination record, favorite toy, blanket, keys: tap what came along and note how the dog was doing on arrival.
Vaccination check at check-inThe app checks your guest's vaccinations. It warns you if one is missing, has already expired or expires during the stay.

Deposits and DATEV exportRequest a deposit as a percentage of the total when booking, and the final invoice deducts it. In Germany, your invoices can go to your tax advisor as a DATEV booking batch.
Cancellation with a messageIf a vacation falls through, cancel the booking and let the family know with a ready-made message.

Which plan includes boarding?
In the Pension plan ($59.99) and in Pension Premium ($95.99), or in Pro and Business if you also walk dogs. Pension includes the booking assistant, the occupancy plan with rooms, check-in with a vaccination check, the care plan, daily updates, inquiries and the waitlist, and the invoice from the booking. Team members: 2 in Pension, up to 10 in Pension Premium and unlimited in Business, which also includes every Pension feature.
Can families book a stay online themselves?
No, you create boarding bookings in the app yourself, for example after a call or an inquiry through your contact form. You send the confirmation with all the details right afterwards. Your clients do handle the intake form, care contract and package booking themselves in the client portal.
How does the app price a stay?
You enter the base price for lodging per day. Then you pick services like three walks a day, medication, puppy care or one-to-one care, each with a daily surcharge. The app multiplies everything by the days of care and shows you the breakdown before you book.
Does the app notice when it gets too full?
Yes. While booking you see every stay that overlaps with the chosen dates and how many spots would be taken with the new booking. When the limit is reached, the app warns you. It also flags guests who don't get along.
Does it work for cats or small pets?
Honestly, not well. GetDogWalkers is built for dogs: profiles with breed, vaccinations, compatibility, heat cycles and walking services. If your pet boarding also takes dogs, the app is a great fit for that part.
Can I run walks and boarding in one app?
Yes, that's exactly what it's made for. A family has one client file, whether their dog walks with you during the week or stays with you over the holidays. Appointments, boarding bookings and invoices all hang off it.
What happens if a vacation is cancelled?
You cancel the booking in a few taps and decide whether the family gets a ready-made message. If an invoice already went out, you create a credit note for it.
