Dogs stay overnight with you while their families are away? Then Pension is your plan. It sits alongside Starter, Pro and Business and covers everything you need for boarding stays, without the dog walking tools.
If you also walk dogs or offer daycare, add the Walks & Daycare add-on. Marketplace: new clients, fair fees.
Every subscription includes a marketplace profile. You can be listed without one too, at a higher rate. Commission is only charged on bookings paid through the marketplace. Your profile is built from your app data, free slots come live from your calendar, and every booking lands directly in the app. The marketplace launched in the Bergstraße, Darmstadt and Rhine-Neckar region, so fees are shown in euros; more regions follow.

Commission in detail
- New client: found through the marketplace search and no booking with you in the last 365 days
- The new-client rate applies to all bookings in the first 60 days, capped at €40 per new client, at least €1 on the first booking
- Capped at €60 per booking without a subscription, €35 with a Pension, Pension Premium or Business subscription
- You pay the Stripe fees, shown openly on your payout statement
Service fee for dog owners
- 6% on marketplace bookings
- At least €0.99, at most €15, at most €19 for boarding bookings
- €0 from the second booking with the same provider, for the first booking within 7 days after a meet & greet and for direct-link bookings with subscribed providers
- The total price including all fees is always shown before payment
Ads & Boost, optional
- Always labeled as an ad
- Boost: +5, +8 or +10 percentage points only on new-client bookings through the Boost placement, capped at +€25 per new client, no base fee
- Boost packages: 7 days €9.99, 30 days €29.99 per service type and region
- At most 2 ad slots per results page, Business and Pension Premium each include 2 Boost weeks per quarter
All rates include VAT; these are the terms at marketplace launch. An example: a new client books 10 group walks at €25 with a Pro business. The owner pays €265, including a €15 service fee. The commission is €25 and the Stripe fee about €4.15. You receive about €220.85.

How does the free trial work?
From launch in January 2027, every plan starts with 7 days free. You pick the plan in the app, confirm with your Apple ID and pay nothing for the first 7 days. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and nothing is charged. After that, the subscription continues at the chosen price.
How do I cancel?
The subscription runs through your Apple ID. Cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → GetDogWalkers. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; everything stays unlocked until then.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, any time from the same subscription page. An upgrade applies immediately, and Apple credits the remaining value of the old plan. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period. Your data is always kept. Features above the new plan are hidden, not deleted.
Where do I find invoices and receipts?
Apple issues the subscription receipt. You'll find it in iOS Settings → your name → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History, or in the email Apple sends after each charge. GetDogWalkers itself never sees your payment details.
What does online payment cost my customers?
GetDogWalkers doesn't charge a fee for it. You connect your own Stripe account and the money goes straight there. Only Stripe's usual fees apply.
How does the team work on Business?
On Business you add your staff at no extra cost per person, plus vehicles, tours with route optimisation, and inquiries with a waitlist. The subscription is tied to the owner's Apple ID only.
Which plan suits my boarding kennel?
If you run a boarding kennel, choose Pension for $59.99 a month. It includes unlimited clients, the occupancy plan with rooms, the booking assistant, check-in with a vaccination check, the daily care plan, contracts, the client portal, inquiries, invoices with XRechnung and DATEV export, and 2 team members. Live walks with GPS, daycare packages and multi-visit cards come with the Walks & Daycare add-on for $14.99 a month, $74.98 in total. Pension Premium for $95.99 includes both, plus a team of up to 10 staff members, marketing automations, automatic backups, the monthly occupancy and revenue report as a PDF, 2 Boost weeks per quarter, priority support and the “Premium Partner” badge with a permanently higher placement in the marketplace, labelled as an ad. If you mainly walk dogs and only board now and then, Pro is enough. For a walking team with vehicles and tours, choose Business, which also includes every Pension feature.
Do prices include tax, and are there discounts?
All prices include VAT where applicable. The App Store shows the price in your local currency, for example $29.99 in the US, €29.99 in the euro area or £26.99 in the UK. Paying yearly gets you two months free. Clubs and shelters: please get in touch via Support.
